Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. It's been a monstrous few months.

My truck was totalled in March. A blue hair pulled a U-turn in front of my truck and my Dodge ate his Chevy for lunch. The blue hair just happened to be my 72 yr old landlord.

Well he decided to sell the property we were living at without letting us know and new owner showed up giving us 24 hrs to vacate. Well that didn't go down the way he had anticipated. LOL Told him I would see him in court.

In the interim I was having my truck repaired and the guy doing the work never finished it.

Took forever to find another property and finally got all moved in to new place on June 15.

Then my brother had congestive heart failure and 2 strokes, one on each side of his brain. Had to drive down to FL to see him. Got into it with his psycho wife who had me thrown out of the hospital within 24 hrs. Guess she didn't like it when I told her whiny, drugged up, "all about me" ass that she needed to put her big girl panties on and cowgirl up. LOL

Anyway he died a week later just as they were getting ready to transfer him to hospice. Best thing that could have happened to him.

His son & family came by on their way back to OH and stayed a few days. Hadn't seen my nephew in a very long time. It was good to get to visit with him, meet his fiance' and my beautiful 1 yr old great-niece.

Now that all has calmed down (I hope) I am in the process of unpacking and getting the new place in order. Much better accomodations. Bigger, nicer, on 8.5 acres. Still in NC (:

On way back from FL I stopped off to look at some property we wanted to buy. Day after I get back I call Realtor and property was already in escrow. I was going to go look at it when the truck was wrecked but that thru a wrench into it. And everything else delayed getting down to SC to look at it. Disappointed immensely. So now back at square one.

Between move and trip to FL all the veggies I had planted died. Lost a couple chickens due to heat stroke in the move. But this property has deer, rabbit, squirrel, and turkey so at least I will be able to fill the freezer with meat.

So how's everything going with you?  Cheesy

Ok pls post here if you got onto the forum without any warnings popping up. I think I got rid of it...for now.

I don't know who is putting the benign coding on our website but I think Google has a lot to do with it. I think it is time for a completely new look. If the site or the board goes down for a few days don't worry. It will be back fresh and new.

There is no justice with Holder or any Odumass appointee in that position.
9  General Category / General Discussion / Re: 3 things White House doesn't want you to know about ObamaCare on: November 18, 2014, 07:52:22 AM
That's exactly why term limits should be a priority. Term limits, cut in pay, and no lifetime benefits. Then maybe, just maybe, we will get some people to run for office that actually want to do the job.
10  General Category / General Discussion / Awaiting Ferguson grand jury on: November 15, 2014, 12:30:36 PM
Police around the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, are preparing for large protests when a grand jury decides whether to indict the white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black teen in August, and so are activists.

This is real simple to solve. Send in National Guard and if one of those morons jumps off the track, shoot his ass. The rest will run for the hills. It's time we put a stop to this BS.

3 things White House doesn't want you to know about ObamaCare, plus 3 things coming in 2015 you arenít going to like

ObamaCare architect and MIT professor Jonathan Gruberís remarks about the "stupidity" of the American voter and the passage of ObamaCare is bad enough. What is even more disturbing are his comments about the billís deliberate lack of transparency. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnestís denials Thursday were also absurd.

The arrogance and condescension that has too often characterized the Obama administrationís policies have put the American public in the unfortunate position of having to learn about the health care changes the hard way, on their own.

Here are three crucial changes that the president clearly didnít want you to know about:

1. HUGE DEFICITS AND NEW TAXES. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the latest projections for the net cost of ObamaCare over the next ten years are just over $1.4 trillion. Whereas President Obama promised in 2009 that it would cost less than $1 trillion over ten years. In order to partially pay for this, ObamaCare has added more than 20 new taxes totaling over $500 billion.

2. BUREAUCRACY. Speaking of Orwellian politics, ObamaCare includes 159 new boards and agencies to restrict and govern your health care choices.

3. STILL MORE BUREAUCRACY. Dysfunctional state exchanges with high deductible policies, narrow doctor networks, including federally-run exchanges in 36 states which may not be allowable under the law (SCOTUS currently considering this case).

Here are three new things coming up in 2015 that you arenít going to like:

1. PENALTIES WILL RISE Ė INDIVIDUAL MANDATE. In 2014, people are facing a penalty of $95 per person or 1% of income.

In 2015, the penalty will more than triple to $325 per person or 2% of income, whichever is higher.

If an American failed to get coverage this year, the penalty will be taken out of their tax refund in early 2015.

2. SERIOUS RATE HIKES FOR CHEAPER OBAMACARE PLANS. According to Investorís Business Daily, the lowest cost bronze plan will increase an average of 7 % in many cases, the lowest cost silver plan by 9%, and the lowest priced catastrophic policy will climb 18 percent on average. Double digit rate hikes are anticipated in several southern and Midwestern states including Kansas, Iowa, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and Virginia.

Subsidies will continue to be a huge part of the program. In 2014, subsidies provided ĺ of the premiums for the federally-run exchanges.

3. EMPLOYER MANDATE WILL TAKE EFFECT. After being delayed for a year, large businesses (100 or more employees in 2015, 50 or more in 2016) will be required to offer affordable (and subsidized) health plans to at least 70 percent of their full time employees or face a $2,000-$3,000 penalty per employee.

This mandate will lead to fewer full time employees being hired.

The latest Kaiser Family Foundation poll in July revealed that 53 percent of those surveyed had an unfavorable view of ObamaCare.

I expect this number to rise as more of ObamaCareís ďbells and whistlesĒ are rolled out. Americans are experiencing ObamaCare as a cancer of the health care system. -- The more it grows, the more it infiltrates and destroys healthy tissue.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/11/13/3-things-white-house-doesnt-want-to-know-about-obamacare-plus-3-things-coming/

The only ones that didn't know about those are the ones that haven't been paying attention and drinking the kool aid. The rest of us, especially those of us here, were well aware of this info and more. This isn't even the worst part of OdumassCare.
I couldn't afford insurance before and I sure as hell can't afford it now.

I sat here for a week and a half with what I suspected was a broken leg before deciding if it was feasible to spend money going to the ER. When my leg got worse and the bruising spread to the bottom of my foot is when I figured I needed to go. Over 20 xrays later ( and I dread seeing the cost of those alone) the ER Dr concluded the leg wasn't broken and referred me to a family physician. Told me to stay off my leg (yeah right), keep it elevated above my heart, handed me a pair of crutches and sent me on my way. Well it's been a month and a half and the bruising is starting to go away mostly, leg still hurts, knee is really messed up, and I still can't afford a trip to the Dr. I know that trip will turn into a subsequent trip to a specialist and most likely surgery. But thanks to ObamaCare in addition to not being able to afford insurance, or a trip to the Dr., I'll get a nice fat fine as well. And my leg will still be messed up.

When the hell will those bastards in DC do what's right? Tort reform, cost containment, and getting the hell off of the Pharmies payroll.

The only two that are openly considering a run are Ben Carson who I would not vote for and Mike Huckabee who it too moderate for me. Thankfully there is plenty of time for others to throw their hat in the ring. It will be interesting to see who steps up to the plate.

I think it is gone again. Let me know. Yep they sure are pissing me off lol. That's ok I'm gonna piss them off when I re-do the front end of this site Smiley

Got it fixed now and submitted for another review. It should be unblocked in the next day or so.

Good question. They have to do something about it otherwise it will all be just electoral rhetoric. Unfortunately both parties think the same thing "who else are they going to vote for?" Wish I had an answer to that.
